Hi Franck, To answer your questions:
1: It is possible to use Versions without an internet connection, to do so, go to the "View" menu and make sure that the option "Show Updates from Repository" is unchecked. You'll then be able to browse working copies normally, as well as compare the current version of a file against the BASE revision, using the "Local Changes" toolbar item. 2: You can use a Versions license either on one computer used by multiple people, or on (a reasonable amount of) multiple computers used by one person.
