Hi all, When using some externals definitions in Versions.app today, I noticed something strange. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or just my fault. When an external property is set on a collection for a direct child of that collection, all works fine. In my case however, I had defined an external on the directory 'src' in this way:
net/company/common https://svn.company.nl/project/src/trunk/common So, the actual checkout of the external was a few directories deeper than the directory the external property was set on. This is valid SVN practice, even recommendable since all external definitions can be found on the 'src' directory. However, Versions seemed not to like it: it switched between displaying a question mark next to the external directory 'common' and displaying it as a normal directory. In both cases, it didn't have the grey arrow next to it that normally marks an external. On the commandline using svn, all was fine. Any thoughts? I solved the problem by defining the externals properties on the direct parent directories. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Versions" group.
