I gave that a shot and it made a slight difference, but the column widths are still pretty inconsistent between launches. Basically it seems like the Name column always shrinks a little bit, and all the other columns grow a bit, especially Last Modified Author. Since my project doesn't have any contributors with really long names, or a history of more than 10,000 revisions, this is kind of unnecessary... ;)
Anyway, hope that information is helpful - it is pretty much just a minor annoyance, but it would be nice if it was resolved.
