Hi David, This is a known problem that didn't make the cut for the 1.0.8 release.
The root cause of the problem is intertwined with several low-level parts of the app, so before we can ship a release that fixes it we need to test such a fix very thoroughly. For the time being, we didn't want to hold out on all the other improvements that were ready in time for 1.0.8. In other words: This bug bugs us too and it'll definitely be fixed some time in future.
