Sorry for prematurely posting this but meanwhile I've found the solution. The problem was, that there's only on key stored in the keychain even if I add multiple repositories from the same server (e.g. '.../path/to/project/1' and '.../path/to/project/2') which hopelessly confused Versions, the Keychain and whatnot. So if you encouter this problem you might want to check your keychain first of there's an old project in there with a different path. Versions doesn't seem to change the path when you add a new repository on the same server.
