I can't see any reason why update is greyed out in Timeline view — can we please have it enabled?
My usual process is to check the timeline before I update to see what's changed, so it's a real pain to be switching tabs multiple times for multiple repositories to update & see the changes. The other confounding factor is that updating brings up a hanging dialog box that prevents me switching views or continuing working — so I can't click update and then flick to the Timeline view to see what its updating... I don't see why the updating (or committing) status can't be indicated in the Bookmarks panel while this happens, rather than preventing me from viewing the timeline or interacting with a different repository. One of the repos I deal with daily is 12GB checked out... not surprisingly it takes quite a while for updates and checkins to complete, during which time Versions is unusable ): -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Versions" group.
