Not sure. I've sent two emails in the past three weeks (and followed up with yet another this morning) and pinged the Versions guys on Twitter, asking about the possibility of getting a regular license key so that I can update to 1.1.8 (v. 1.1.6 was the latest I saw on the MAS), and I have received no response to any of them.
