Sorry I had no time to send my small patches for now (they are on my laptop at home). I'll do this ASAP. On the Qt4 side, how is the translation process going? Do you need any help in this area? I have updated to HEAD 2 days ago and noticed that Veusz can actually display a curve as you told, but the Tree widgets for parameterizing the curve is missing (since this has deeply changed since Qt3). I guess this is the main area of work at short term.
The translation process is going slowly (mainly as I'm trying to add other features to the main branch at the same time and don't have a lot of free time at the moment).
You can grab the latest efforts from the Subversion tree (qt4 branch). Yes, the editing window (treeeditwindow.py) is one of the major things to change.
Also the plotting stuff has changed more than I anticipated in qt4. The interfaces are reasonably different. I'm considering writing an interface level to make things easier. Most of function calls are similar, but some take QPolygon, and some take some other object, so it's a bit tedious. I'm looking at this at the moment.
I've disabled quite a lot of code by commenting bits out, but it sort of runs.
If you feel like working on treeeditwindow.py, feel free. I'll let you know before I start working on it. I could try working out how to give you access to the repository, or you could send me a patch when something is working. The problem is to map the stuff we have at the moment onto the model-view-controller interface of the new tree widget.
