Unfortunately the position in the key is tied to the order it is plotted (which can be changed by drag/drop or moving up and down). There probably should be an ordering override option for the key widget. You can work around this by adding a copy of the plot (with no data), with the key text, and placing it in the order required for the key. Remove the label from the real plot widget.
