Hi Paul

You can either compose the 2d dataset from three x,y,z 1D datasets (using data create 2d), or import data from a file which is a 2D set of values

e.g.

1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12

for a 4x3 array of 2d data. There's an optional "xrange A B" and "yrange A B" lines you can add to the top to specify the range of data in x and y (A=min, B=max). The format isn't very flexible and there should be an option for csv.
