Unfortunately this isn't supported. The contour widget only supports a regular grid, though the underlying routines can cope with any mesh.
Veusz currently only supports regularly spaced 2D datasets. It would be better to support more complex datasets, or at least to be able to do interpolation to convert non regular datasets to regular ones.
