It looks like you're using transparency. EPS and PostScript doesn't support transparency, so Qt tries to work around this by converting overlapping transparent regions to bitmaps. It often seems to fail, like in your example. I'm not sure how to fix this. It might be possible to fix Qt in this case, but it probably would be difficult to debug.
I'd recommend using PDF for images, if possible, which does support transparency. You can use pdflatex and convert all your images to pdf. Alternatively, you could make a high resolution image to convert to EPS.
