No, I'm afraid it's not possible unless you resample your data up to higher resolution. Of course, if it's log-spaced data you can log your coordinate values first to convert to linear spacing.
It would be nice to have support for non-uniformly sampled 2D data. The contouring routines supports this I think, but the 2D datatype would need some sort of extension for pixel values. The image widget would also need to know how to plot that sort of data.
