Wes Not exactly sure of the shape but the white feather from the neck of a ringneck pheasant may be what you are looking for. Mel ----- Original Message ----- From: Wes Wada To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2008 7:31 PM Subject: [VFB] Feather I.D. Request
Hi VFB, Feather i.d. request for the wizards out there. I am in need of a relatively durable feather, at least a durable stem. The shape needs to be like a Corn Nut, and not longer than 1/2" from base to tip, smaller is also good. Does anyone know what feather, from what cape, would be close to that description? Color is secondary. If it is necessary to simply trim a feather to get this shape, some suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
