VERY happy to hear you are OK, Allen. And a very good lesson as many of us are no longer "spring-chickens."
I will be leaving today for Vegas to spend Christmas with our daughter. I wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. Jim Jim Collins "I think fly fishing and writing attract the same kinds of personalities. They tend to be real detail oriented. A fly fisherman will worry about how many turns of hackle there should be in a dry fly. And a writer will sit up all night worrying about the proper use of a semicolon." --John Gierach -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Allan Fish Sent: Tuesday, December 23, 2008 8:09 AM To: Fly Fishing Digest; Virtual Flybox Subject: [VFB] Off-topic, but a moral Condensed version. I had a little heaviness in my chest Sunday morning. It got worse. Got hauled off to the heart hospital. I had a clog. Heart Cath. got it repaired and I got back home yesterday. No heart attack - caught it in time. Moral to the story: If you feel ANYTHING a little squirrely going on in your chest and think there MIGHT be something going on, get into the E.R. immediately. Do NOT wait till you have a heart attack and get heart damage. Far better to find that it was a false alarm than to find that oops - I shoulda come in earlier. Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah, and wonderful holidays to all Allan -- Allan Fish Greenwood, IN [email protected] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VFB Mail" group.
