Folks: Some were asking where I have been. My wife had been having abdominal pains, nausea and throwing up really bad. for about a week, and she had gone to her doc who thought that is was a stomach virus that has been going around.. Anyway, it got so bad, Saturday night that I took her to the ER and she has been in the hospital ever since. There were two gall stones in the duct that leads to the liver. So, the first doc, a gastroenterologist, on Monday put a scope down her throat and through her stomach, then into that duct. There was one "huge" (in his words) one, and one small one. He got the small one out .but not the smaller one. So, he dilated the duct in hopes it would go back into the gall bladder. to be removed. So, yesterday, the surgeon removed her gall bladder. It had Dozens and Dozens of stones in it.It was down laproscopically (sp) and went off without a hitch. But they still don't know if they got that one last one that was in the duct, and she'll go back Monday as an out patient, and get that one removed it it's still there. My back finally gave out on the HORRIBLE chair/cot they had for me to sleep on, so my Daughters is staying with her, and I JUST came home to be with the boys..
