As I have understood it, the traditional fly-fishing way, or "old way" as
George described it, was with right hand reeling (for a right handed). I
thought about this for a while. Compared to many of you, I'm very young in
the game. I have never bought a fly reel set up for right hand retrieve (the
right hand Diplomat 178 that I started with was given to me)... and I can't
remember even played with one in a shop.
So I got curious about how it would look here in Sweden, on a forum where
the majority, including myself, (if they were born at all) might have been
crawling in their nappies when many of you guys already had been swinging
your rods for years.

I started a poll last night:
"Do you reel the line with your dominant hand?"
* Yes
* No, that is holding the rod.

At this moment 89 have answered. 66 of them are holding their rod with their
dominant hand, while reeling with the other... 74.16%.
