I've been paging through this book, at the local sports megastore, for at least six months. Didn't have the needed mad money to splurge the $28.95 retail price. This book is filled with a lot of very effective patterns, at least to my eye. My experience is for the trout flies, which fill about 60% of the book. Also, there are healthy sections for saltwater, and steelhead and salmon, and a modest warmwater selection. The production quality is excellent, and I really like the bindery work, which is a rare achievement in a book these days. The book remainder sale is on for a limited amount of time.
