Iain,
I'm under the impression you want feather-wing wet flies, like a classic
lead-wing pattern, using duck, goose, etc. flight feathers, married, maybe not.

correct?

Does it have to be tied with classic tying techniques and materials, like a
vintage fly swap?
Can I tie 11 different ones? I still hate repetition....
