Fly tiers have been using this for years (at least those in my neighborhood have). It makes wonderful stretch bodies on tiny flies. If you twist it tightly it can also be used for ribbing. It wears forever. One thing to remember, because it is so stretchy, when you tie it on, tie it on the whole hook length and bind it down good. When you tie it off, you must do a lock, tie it off going forward, then stop, bend it back and tie it off again. Otherwise, it quickly will unravel. enjoy. Joyce
