I bought some chartruese combed sheep's wool for Peggy's swap, and while I was tying the hoppers, I experimented with the wool, applying it in different rope-dub fashions. The only additional material I used was some cree hackle. All of the rest is just the wool. Not done yet, for sure. Still need to crank out some chartruese sculpins with this as the spun head. It's a very flexible material, and the color/texture is perfect.
