http://groups.google.com
Towards the top it'll probably have a place to sign in.
Do so.
Then go to "MY GROUPS"
You'll see a list of them (or it) on the right.
Below it is a clickable link for "Manage my memberships"
Then the simplest way is just set subscription type to "No Email".
You're still a member of the group but you won't see anything till
you get back.
Then re-set it to "Email"
Clear as mud?
