I think I have seen the minnow once in a book somewhere, These sorts of things never make it to these shores though.
The floats are still available here and were based on porcupine quills. Many still are coloured that way.....even have one end ultra pointy.....easy to prick yourself. We use them alot here for garfish (not the gar you spoilt Floridians have), mullet etc because it is ultra sensitive. What are the "holy head" hooks? Are these speciality hooks made by smaller companies, or are they larger company "marketing mistakes"? Can I get some pics? R Jimmy D.
