I got a piece of PB a few years back when i lived in Washington State and it
was 24x24 inches and it cost me 10.00 i could have gotten the whole skin but i
didn't need all of it and was abit worried about having a large piece if i got
caught with it.There was no way i could explain where i got it or who i got it
from so for everyones protection i passed on the large amount.I had a friend
that got caught up with fish and game because he had about 50 eagle feathers he
had picked up while on the Skagit river and that was fun.

  The Dollar Store??

Really curious what this set you back! Got a bargain I hope. Looking around
the Web, it is possible to buy full PB skins for non-US importation, but they
cost $7,000 - $8,000! AeEEE-iiiii!

I kick myself that my mother once had one of these skins inherited from a
relative. No more, though.

For those unfamiliar, it is illegal to have PB in the US imported after 1972.
Fly tyers get the stuff from Canada, usually, but strictly hush-hush.

  Yup, what a find, Harmen!
