Did anyone else not get the photos that I attached?
I'll have to re-send with my settings.

Pat,
As Crocodile Dundee, would say. "Now theeeerrrre's a grub!"
This would be great 'taka' in the outback. I wonder if this 1st
photo was photo-shopped. LOL
This one would be great BBQ'd with cornbread stuffing.
Or imagine a skewer of these with bell peppers, onions,
mushrooms...yuuuummmie!!! (If you're a bush-man...)
One this size would make for a great Fantasy Fly
This is more believable, but is still huge.
This is a great application for the rope-dub.
My 'suggestions' for a giant grub:
Hook: Largest 'sedge' style you can find (or similar)
Underbody- White yarn (build up)
Roped body material: Off-white poly, blended (flattened)
Legs, burnt-tip ultra-chennille in tan.
Head: Orange glass bead
Gray markings- gray marker
Orange hi-lites & spots- orange marker
Looks to be a real fun project!
Getting the 'ridge' along the sides would be a trick.
I've done small 3/4" grubs, but nothing like a giant beetle grub.
