Sorry about missing the QFTD this week. Broke my right foot on Tuesday.
Tripped on a step and sit down on my foot. The break is right behind the
base of my two toes next to big toe. Not much to do about it except to
tough it out. The steps weren't really steps, but "landings" and were about
two feet wide, instead of the standard step width. I was wearing
sandals and caught
the heel on the lip of the step. Guess I'm lucky though. It could have
been a HIP !
WOW! You were lucky you didn't land on your head. You might have
broken the landing!
I'm sure you got yelled at (WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!!) by SWMBO, so
I'll just say:
WATCH WHERE YOU'RE STEPPING!
Hope you heal rapidly. OUCH! It makes me hurt to think about it.
