I have a couple of the larger sizes for bass fishing.

Did somone mention J.W. Young reels??

There one of my favorites, especially the Beaudex, Pridex, and Condex series.

If I used Youngs and Hardys/Hardy clones, I wouldn't need any other reel!

The reels on the J.Austin Forbes website including the miniatures were made
by J.W.Young of England before the company was taken over by Cortland in
about 2000-2001. I have a small collection of them from 2" upwards to 4".
The 3" bronze Arial is beautiful to look at and even more beautiful to fish
with.

One of these days I am going to make a miniature bamboo rod like that
one just for the novelty of it. I doubt there is much of a market for
it. I wish I could buy those reels separately, but it doesn't appear
that way.
