Jerry, you don't really need to abandon your e-mail addy. Google your problem and I'm sure that there are just some settings that can be tuned up on that hotmail account to prevent this. You are not having your e-mail hacked, but your addy used for spamming. This happened to me with my yahoo account twice before I searched for solutions and found one. There are loads of folks running in to the same thing and somebody has developed a fix for it.
