There are no eels in this lake, but a burbot, or ling (cod), is sorta' like a 
cross between an eel and a catfish, and live in these cold-water lakes.  There 
are quite a few in the drainage and in lakes around Wyoming, and they get 
fairly large.

It states that the largest went over 19 pounds, so they get quite large.

It would really be a hoot if there was a ling caught in Alcova Lake where I was.
