June 14, 2011 3:40 P.M. I just got back from Salt Lake visiting with Larry. He is a pretty sick guy, although he looks much better than two weeks ago. The Doctors came while I was there and confirmed that he is a sick guy and will be in the hospital for at least another week and then to a rehab center before he goes home. He is not eating well. He has a lot of anxiety. He has lost a lot of weight. The liver has a higher count today and they had taken biopsy before I visited with him. They will adjust his medicine according to the biopsy report. His color is good though and he was sitting in a chair and not in bed. Calling him is probably still not the best. He talks so slowly and seems to have to think about what he should say for a rather lengthy time. Wait to call. Talking with Shauna is best and then if Larry can, or????, then Shauna will give the phone to him. Visiting is still not the best either but check with Shauna.
