Better re-invented and re-growing than dead and forgotten. A quick gathering of the troops into Googlegroups was a good saviour when the Troutnet domain suddenly died on us. We did lose quite a few members though. 3,5 years later we are 209 of us - a third of the former list. But I don't think it made a big change in traffic. "The Big Four" (as described by the About Us list) - Don, Tony, JimmyD and Jimi, were quickly back on track and started to generate replies from the rest of us. My Outlook post file never noticed a difference. LOL 1: DonO - 1393 2: Tony - 1221 3: Bigtroutman - 1150 4: Deserttrout - 1036 (with Allan as no 5, with a humble 657) /Nick

As one of the VFB managers/monitors, whatever, I have not seen anything out of the way, no flamming, plenty of good natured banter, via DonO and Nick and a few others Good stuff all around. Even Byard has put in his 2 cents wort several times. Good to see he's pleased with the Re-invented VFB.
