Hi All;

When I first started tying flies, they were for Bass and I remeber Lefty Kreh
saying that he always included red in his Bass patterns somewhere, he felt it
served as a trigger for the Bass. If it's good enough for Lefty I figured it
was good enough for me. I've always used red somewhere in my warm water
patterns and they all seem to work well.  I have very few patterns without red
in them and use them less often and catch less fish with them than patterns
including red.  I don't know if it's because I use them less or use them less
because they're less effective.  Either way I feel as though they are more
effective and thus have confidence in them.

What do you think?
