I use the glass Pyrex containers. They clean easily with soap and water. Can be placed on a heat source to keep the dye solution hot if necessary. If used properly will last a life time or two. I have gotten to a stage in my life where I try not to use anything disposable. This can be hard to accomplish sometimes because in North America we live in a disposable society. Just look at all the fast food containers that litter the landscape.

I use one for each color I'm dying, and when they crack or get decrepid, throw them out. Saves time in the long run. Quick question, my dye pans a little negleted and not cleaned very well and I need to do some dying. What do others use to clean up their dye pans?
