Makes good tripods for climbing beans when lashed together at the top.
Grandpa always kept several around for fishing poles. Kinda hard to set
the hook while they are still green because jerking upward causes the
tip to flex downward a bit. We mostlygot ours from the cane breaks in
the river bottoms near Paris,Arkansas, but there were cane breaks
scattered around a lot of the creeks back when I was a kid.
