For those not on the east coast I can give a little history of Fly Shack, all positive.

This is a family operation that started with fly's by the dozen at the east coast shows for a low price, like close to .49 each several years ago. He found through trail and error a good Kenya company and get's all his flies there, and they aren't bad. The stay together and the hooks don't break.

Then each year they add another line of stuff until now they are full service. But at the shows it's the parents and teenage kids doing the selling, and they all fish together.

I send some of my adult tying students there for equipment, most are on a very tight budget with kids in college. So my encouraging line is "start here and when the kids graduates treat yourself to something nice' by then you will know how to fly fish/tye flies and what you really want to fish and tie with"

Would not show when I searched on e-bay using "Saber Fly Hooks" for
the search. I suspect that someone is marketing an Asian (probably
Chinese) manufactured hook and calling them "Saber." There are so many
like this such as "Talon"
