Then it might be that "orange cahill" The one I came across was about that size but had more orange in the tail, most likely because of eggs.

Well, I have an old lamp beside the chair I sit in to read and I looked up and there was this yellow/golden dragonfly (or is it a damsel fly???) sitting there watching me read I guess LOL. I thought it was pretty neat, and I have never seen one this color before that I can remember. I wish I could tie one that looks this good.
