I'm own right now, and his late daddy in law, both drank a lot, and would buy
moonshine locally,. get drunk and hid their jugs in hollowed out trees, and
forget where they hid their likker LOL, Chuck

  Chuck,

You probably just grow em bigger down there. Earlier, I said that the one I
saw in Tennessee was at least 2 inches long, but in reality, I think it was
closer to 3 inches from front to back of tails. However, I didn't have my
yardstick in my hip pocket, so I just guesstimated.

Maybe they've been hatched in some of those backwoods ponds containing old
'shine from when the revenooers busted up some stills.

Weird that the mayfly in the pic on the link is EXACTLY like the one I saw.
But the link says that that is between .071 inches and 1.18 inches not
including they legs. But the body of this one was at LEAST 1.5 inches, and it's
tail(s) were at LEAST 1.5 inches as well. Does that mean the one in the link
and mine are two different ones after all?? Or do we just "grow em bigger" down
here??? Chuck
