Alan,

In case Hans isn't awake at 3:33 a.m.:

Hans has two versions on his website. The one tiied by John Ridderbos, is Jack Gartside's original recipe:
http://www.danica.com/flytier/jridderbos/sparrow.htm

The other one, tied byTim Didas, has a bushier (marabou) tail.
http://www.danica.com/flytier/tdidas/sparrow.htm

FINALLY, the original recipe and step-wise instructions are on the originator's website, Jack Gartside (I miss that crazy guy):
http://www.jackgartside.com/step_gartside_sparrow.htm

I don't know who is keeping Jack's website up now that Jack has sailed off to his eternal fishing hole, but whoever it is should be thanked. Lots of good info there.

Hope this helps.

Allan
