There were times that I could not figure out why my sock would stick to the
carpet. It seemed there was a hook in my sock.
Got a bit of fishing in this morning with my Son In Law. It was slow, Some
rises but all we could see in the air was some midges about sz 64, Got down to
sz 20 but they did not want what I was casting to them. We got a few Rainbows
on sz 14 Chili peppers.

Subject: [VFB] Hooked to the carpet!

This morning after taking a shower I was getting dressed and sat on my bed to
put my socks on.  When I tried to raise my right leg, I realized that my foot
was attached to the carpet. Closer examination revealed a size 10 Kamasan B220
black nymph hook looped through the skin of my middle toe and then into the
carpet!  I have no idea how this came to pass. I had not yet used any of the
hooks and upon checking the contents of the hook box, I was one hook short.
Fortunately no damage was done to me or the carpet!
