This one is TRUE! Back in 1956 when I was a freshman at Auburn, me and
two of my
Forestry classmates decided to go gator hunting at night on the
Chipsebow River just outside Mobilel, Ala. We had a long pole with
noose, and all three had flashlights. Shine a light
into a gators eyes and he'll freeze till you move the light. Well our
little 12 ft Jon Boat was
already loaded and we had no idea of what was yet to come. We shot the
gator, but only
grazed hjim, knocking him out. We loaded him in the boat and took off.
Gator came too.
and swashed his tail, knocking me out ot the jon boat. Talk about
walking on water.
Gotta do something for Jody. Will finish the story late tonight or
tomorrow..
