I bought mine at Radio Shack but paid a lot more for them. I think there were
four in a package for 5.95. I don't think Radio Shack carries the Micro ones
any more.

Yes, they're primary use is to connect into electronic circuits for testing.
The best price and selection by far can be found on ebay. They even have some
types with narrow rectangular bases.

Wayne: I see. So they are made for the electronics industry right???
I think that’s what I remember somebody saying now. Chuck

I've been using them that way for years. I just purchased 80 of the really
small ones, I epoxied magnets to the base of clip and use them to display
flies on a magnetic dry erase board above my tying desk.
The small ones make great hackle pliers too!

Wayne: Lookin’ good. I think (KNOW) our bluegill, specially from late April
through May and even later (the Spawn) you drop one of those over a bluegill
and/or shell cracker, or bass, or crappie nest, they’ll KILL em. And BTW. This
is for you, or anybody. Where can I get those “push button fly holders”?? I
know that are actually made for some other reason right??? But like tonight, I
was painting some tiny jig heads different colors with fingernail polish and
I’d have to set up another vise or three and clamp them in those, and paint
them, wait to put on a second coat etc. But if I had about a dozen of those
(or better still a rotating wheel LOL) I could churn em out a LOT faster, and
a LOT more easily. And what do those things usually cost, so I know if I find
a good deal or not, if I buy them from say, eBay etc??   I thought about
something like AK Best’s “third hand” which is just a clothes pin that is
glued or fixed to
the table and acts as just that, a third hand. But what I was going to do it
to cut myself a piece of say, 2” by 4” (for the weight and stability), then
glue about a dozen clothespins in the vertical position then glue them to the
board, thus acting as “clamps” for things like these jigs. But the things you
are using there would be much better I think. Thanks, Chuck
