Jack: That would be a great way to allow your flies with marabou tails for
example to dry and regain their original shape wayyyyy better than just putting
them back into a fly box huh??? Chuck

This note from Jack DeHaven came through in a weird format that wouldn't
post. I finally figured out that somehow his photo got converted to ASCII of
all things. Somehow (and I have no idea how I did it), I got it to open. He's
got a really neat idea. Here's his note.

I seldom post because, like many of you, I find Google ver= y annoying. I saw
the post about the mini-grabbers on my tablet but can't f= ind it on my
desktop? Anyway, an easy way to hold flies while they are dryi= ng is to buy a
sheet of plastic canvas at Michaels or Walmart or any craft = store. They are
less than a buck! There are many ways you could make = it fancy, like cutting
slots in a board and gluing strips in the slots. I j= ust bought a sheet and
laid it on top of one of my plastic cabinets. Curren= tly I'm making jigs for a
friend and I hung the jigs in the plastic while t= hey dried. This won't work
for heads that need to be rotated!

Also, = when I get back from a fishing trip, I pull the flies I've used out
of the = pill bottle I store them in. I put them on the rack and they dry
overnight.=

  Cheap and simple.
