I thought it was funny, Nick. I'm kind of a Mac Bigot because everything is done for you on the Mac. I consider Macs as "computers for dummies". Maybe you can't customize them, but on the other hand you don't have to customize them. <g>
Not knowing anyone who works/worked for Apple, I have no biases, but I can certainly see where Peggy is coming from. On the other hand, I have a good friend who was "down-sized" from Microsnot, as he so lovingly calls it. I hear a lot of negative stuff about MS products from him. He's really gone to the dark side - he's now a Unix fan. <G> Nick, I took it your "no iPad" as a really cute jest. It's like saying Or**. If it was taken as anything but a joke, I apologize for that. The real reason for that lock screen is really that when I bought the tablet Emelie wanted to show all her friends "the iPad that daddy had bought". It was just a joke. I do have an iPad too, which was given to me from work. But I hardly ever use it. Personally I don't like iOS products one bit. They make you so limited as a user since they've left no room for customizing. There's no "your way" to talk about... only "their way". I use it for streaming movies since the screen is better than on the tablet... and it's a welcome complement so the girls have one each to play on. But that's the only place it has here. I'd chose an Android any day of the week. /Nick On Thu, Jun 5, 2014 at 12:02 PM, Peggy Brenner <[email protected]> wrote: Nick, we don't own a I anything at our house.
