Folks: First off, I’d like to thank the ppl who gave me advice on what works (or don’t work) for IBS with them. I followed their recommendations as closely as I could, along with FOUR new meds my doc put me on this last week. And today (knock on wood he says tapping his head), is the first day in three weeks that I am not just doubled over with cramps, bloating, gas, etc ect in three weeks.
Now the bad news. My son in law, daughter, and granddaughters borrowed my boat today, and asked if I wanted to go, but #1, one of those meds makes you where, when you need a restroom, the middle of a huge lake is NOT the place to be when it kicks in iffen ya know what I mean??? Then, a cpl of the new meds have a side effect of extreme nervousness, and jittery feelings, and I just an so nervous from that, that I tell my wife when my hands start trembling, “I’m not nervous, I’m just QUICK LOL) But another good part is, those symptoms, the literature and my doc say SHOULD go away after a cpl weeks of being on the meds. We have to realize that when we put man made drugs/meds in our bodies, our bodies WILL react to them in one way or another, which is why the side effects, interactions, adverse reactions list in the Lit. is 15 pages long. And nervousness/dizziness/trembling, is probably listed on 90% of ALL drugs side effects. Anyway, thanks again for all the help,, well wishes, and prayers on my behalf. Seems like I might live through this now. Chuck Only problem was. It was VERY,VERY HARD to see my boat pulling out of the yard just now WITHOUT my going with it LOL.. But, I’d hate to get out in the 200-300 acre lake they are going to that belongs to a family friend, and I didn’t wanna go, get sick again after just 30 minutes and risk ruining their trip by having to bring me back home, so it’s all good IF they bring me a mess of crappie or bluegills to eat LOL.
