Today at the senior center for lunch, a friend that fishes in my area of the river told me about a Brown that was caught last Friday about 30 feet below my dock here on the White, It was 25+ pounds. He witnessed it. Sorry to say it was caught by a bait fisherman and it did not survive. On Thursday of last week my son in law, who was here on vacation, was out in that area fishing and came in telling me about a large Trout he had seen up near the bank by a fallen tree below my dock. The tree is on the edge of the river. It is a Maple that was undermined by high water last winter and fell into the river. We went out that evening and while fishing we saw two or three real large swirls right in that area. My son in law put on a large streamer and cast for an half hour in that area but nothing hit it. It was getting dark so we quit. I bet that big Trout he saw was that same one that was caught. Arkansas Tony
