Many people on the VFB list prefer the e-mail format,. That being said, here are some British Columbia fly fishing lists that use the forum style to communicate. When I looked at the number of registered members is was very surprised at the numbers..............and this is only four lists that I am a registered member of. There must be some other lists that I,m not aware of. Now, I don’t participate in these as much as I do with VFB, in fact I participate very little. Although headquartered in BC, these forums are available to anyone with an internet connection and are therefore international. I am not suggesting that VFB move to forum style, but the forum has some advantages such as no email to delete and multiple threads or conversations. I do agree that it can be a bit overwhelming and I don’t like the fact that the members don’t use their proper name.
