I dont see it being such an issue in Australia. we have quite an active
fly fishing community, although a number of general fishing stores have
cut down their fly fishing sections to almost nothing. Many of us buy
gear from the US or ebay due to the prices being charges here.
Ridiculous is an understatement as a general rule. However, if you look
at flylife.com.au, you can see a lot of activity. When some flyfishing
movies were shown in a cinema. all sessions were booked out. Many of the
people attending would have been in the late 20s/early 30s I seem to
remember.
