Interesting. The pic that shows the full length of the reel seat has a short 
cork grip in relation to the rather long reel seat.  Do the snake guides match 
each other in style rather than size? The reel seat appears in the photo to 
have a single sliding locking band with a ridge at the lower end to stop it 
from sliding right off. Appears to be chrome plated brass and up locking but 
could be down locking if the butt cap is not showing. According to Sinclair the 
wrappings were almost always a combination of red and black so that fits.
