A couple of days ago, I went to my local newsagent to pick up the only two fishing magazines that I buy. He is a great newsagent and always phones me to let me know when my magazines are available for pick-up and I have been a customer for at least 10 years. When paying for them, Michael the newsagent told me that they would be the last magazines that I would be getting from him as he was closing his shop. He told me that he used to have 30 customers with special orders like mine, but that he was now down to just 5 and he could no longer pay the rent and make a profitable living. He didn’t know what he was going to do next.
