I have been trying to tie some California Blondes (No Allan not that type 😏) but have found them rather time consuming to tie. I have never tied this pattern before so need some practice. Am heading out with my son for an extended weekend but since all the local rivers except the largest are closed to fishing sue to low water & high water temperature we are going about 4 hours north to see if we can find some trout. This pattern is recommended so I tied a few.
